EUROPEAN BLUE FLAG SINCE 1999
You are now visiting an area with beaches, thta fly the Blue Flag is an environmental award, given to communities that make a special effort to keep their beaches clean. This effort is first and foremost for you:
- so that you and your family can visit clean and safe environments;
- so that your community maintains a basis for sound development.
HERE IS A HIGHLIGHT OF THE CRITERIA
- Compilance with a specified, hight standard of water quality.
- That beach is cleaned on a regular basis.
- That there in no release of industrial or other waste water.
- That water quelity infor, ation is published on the beach.
- That the Blue Flag information is published on the beach.
- That is safe and easy to get the beach.
- That the bech facilities are properly maintained.
- That there are access and facilities for people with disabilities.
- That there are lifeguard or sufficient lifesaving equipment to respond to accident anywhere on the beach.
- That the beach activities do not interfree with nature protection.
